Osceola Police are investigating two shootings that injured a 2-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy. Both were treated locally before being transferred to a Memphis hospital. Public tips are sought.

Officers of the Osceola Police Department were dispatched to 316 Shirley Drive Feb. 4, in reference to shots being fired. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a 2-year-old female had been injured in the shooting. The victim was taken to the South Mississippi County Regional Medical Center in Osceola for treatment.

While officers were at the hospital with the female victim, a 16-year-old male came in with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Both victims were later transported to Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center in Memphis for medical treatment. Anyone with any tips or information about these two shootings are asked to contact the Osceola Police Department or Blytheville Crimestoppers.
