Bobby Dean Byrd, 75, of Tyronza, Ark., formerly of Wilson, Ark., died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024. Born Jan. 28, 1949, in Joiner, Ark., he was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, retired American Greetings employee and a member of Joiner Baptist Church. He was a retired volunteer with the Wilson Fire Department and a Master Mason. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren. He always looked forward to spending time at Deer Camp with his friends each deer season.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Cherry and Marcella Faulkner Byrd; and sister, Helen Sanchez.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Dustin “Bubba” Byrd (Allyson) and Hunter Heath Byrd; one daughter, Deanna Jo Coffman (Trey); one brother, David Cherry Byrd, Jr.; one sister, Carol Lopatkiewicz; and six grandchildren:, Miles Romas Scott, Abbygail Jane Byrd, Avery Claire Coffman, Carter Bentley Carrillo, Annalee Rose Pate and Sawyer Dean Bryd.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, at Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola, Ark.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, at Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be held in Louise Chapel Cemetery.
