Annie Lee Smith, 96, passed away on Feb. 13, 2025, in Blytheville, Ark. She leaves behind a large family, including six sons and a daughter, and a legacy of devotion and resilience. Services will be held on Feb. 22.

Annie Lee Smith, 96, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, at Heritage Square Nursing Center in Blytheville, Ark. Born on Dec. 27, 1928, her life was marked by her devotion to her family and her unwavering spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George H. Thompson Smith and Robbie Smith; one son, L.C. Smith; one daughter, Brenda Sims; four brothers, John L. Smith, L.C. Smith, Eddie Smith, and Bennie Smith; and two sisters, Beatrice Mosby and Viola Smith

She is survived by her six sons, Arthur Watkins, Robert Watkins (Alice), Clarence Smith, Carl Hall, and Don Smith, all of Luxora, Ark., and Johnny Hall, of Jonesboro, Ark; one daughter, Donna Newmy (Jerome), of Blytheville; 31 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Ark.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, at Tabernacle M.B. Church in Osceola, Ark., with the Rev. M.L. Smith officiating. Burial will be held in Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette, Ark.
