Linda Elizabeth Carr

Linda Elizabeth Carr, 77, of Joiner, Ark., died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, at NEA Baptist Hospital, in Jonesboro, Ark. Born June 9, 1947, in Keiser, Ark., she was of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Brister and Mable Lawrence; her husband, Leon Carr; five brothers; three sisters; and one great-grandchild, Layne Hice.

She is survived by one son, David Carr, of Joiner; one daughter, Stacy Green (James), of Joiner; three brothers, Donnie Brister, of Keiser, Ronnie Brister, of Pleasant Plains, Ark., and Ricky Brister, of Osceola, Ark.; three sisters, Lena Herrington, of Keiser, Carolyn Horton, of Osceola, and Penny Challis, of Caruthersville, Mo.; two grandchildren, Kristian Audon, of Morrilton, Ark., and Tyler Hice, of Dover, Pa.; five great-grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial was held in Bassett Cemetery in Bassett, Ark.

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola was in charge of arrangements.
