Ida Mae Williams, 85, of Osceola, Arkansas, passed away on January 31, 2025. A dedicated member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, she leaves behind a large family. Services are set for February 8.

Ida Mae Williams, 85, of Osceola, Ark., died Friday, Jan. 31, 2025. Born Aug. 19, 1939, in Nodena, Ark., she was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. She also served as a “Mother” in the Church and was a former choir member.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James “Jake” Williams; three daughters, Retha Mae Jones, Josephine Vail, and Cathy Lou Baker; two brothers, Eugene Baker and John Henry Baker; and two sisters, Kathleen Lewis and Ada B McCullum.

She is survived by two sons, Louis Baker (Janie), of Osceola, and Eddie Baker (April), of Key Largo, Fla.; one daughter, Mae James, of Osceola; two brothers, Tommy Lee Baker and James Ervin Baker, both of Osceola; three sisters, Robi Hill and Kathy Jean Baker, both of Osceola, and Leulla Bradley, of Key Largo; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Osceola.

Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Dr. Moses Black officiating. Burial will be held in Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
