Aaron Tracy Hopewell III, 26, of Luxora, Ark., died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2024, in Osceola, Ark. Born Oct. 5, 1998, he was employed by Hill Service - Steel Mill in Osceola, a former basketball player and 2017 graduate from Rivercrest High School in Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ethel Hopewell, Aaron Hopewell, Sr. and Eddie Henry, Jr.
He is survived by his parents, Aaron Hopewell, Jr., of Luxora, and Ruby Hopewell, of Osceola; a special friend, Damera Smith, of Luxora; one daughter, Aarien Tranae Hopewell, of Luxora; three brothers, Cyrus Hopewell and Shanard Hopewell, of Luxora, Paris Harrison, of Jonesboro; four sisters, Rosalyn Maclin (Andrian), Ericka Adams and Shantelle Moore, of Jonesboro, Ark., and Shia Moore, of Osceola; a special niece, Trekisha Moore, of Carrollton, Texas; and his grandmother, Rosie Henry, of Osceola.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, at Charles Strong Recreational Center in Luxora. Burial will be held in Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
