Alice Mae Clower, 86, of Blytheville, Ark., died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark. Born Oct. 27, 1938, in Proctor, Ark., she attended Marion Public School, was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Sarah Clower; her son, Donald Clower; five brothers; three sisters; and one grandson.
She is survived by her five sons, Sylvester Stewart, Michael Clower, Larry Clower, and Chris Clower, all of Blytheville, Ark, and the Rev. Keith Clower, of Caruthersville, M.; two daughters, Marlene Davenport and Vickie McKinney, both of Blytheville; three sisters, Dorothy Bonner and Pearlie Norman, both of Blytheville, and Edna Smith of Luxora, Ark.; 23 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Elder Keith Clower officiating. Burial will be held in Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette, Ark.
Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville is in charge of arrangements.
