Sharon Sparks

Sharon Sparks, 68, of Jonesboro, Ark., died Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born Nov. 5, 1956, in Joiner, Ark., she was a homemaker and a member of New Life Tabernacle in Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Leona Goldman Mofield; and one daughter Melissa Sparks.

She is survived by her husband, William Sparks, of Jonesboro; one son, William Sparks, Jr., of Jonesboro; one daughter, April Wright, of Jonesboro; one brother, James Mofield, of Manila, Ark.; two sisters, Betty Foster, of Leachville, Ark., and Kathy Mofield, of Cove; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be held in Louise Chapel in Joiner.

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
