Charlene Anderson

Charlene Anderson, 73, of Marked Tree, Ark., died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Ark. Born Sept. 17, 1951, in Holly Springs, Miss., she was a retired seamstress and a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Lamar, Miss.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearson Anderson and Mary Lee McKinney; two brothers Pearson Anderson and Leroy Anderson; and four sisters Lillian Crockett, Diane Smith, Pearlie Snow and Dorothy Bobo.

She is survived by one son, Bryant Anderson, of Jonesboro; two daughters, Nicotra Anderson, of Tyronza, Ark., and Laferris Anderson, of Marked Tree; three brothers, Terry Anderson, Bruce Anderson and Charles Lee Jones, all of Marked Tree; one sister, Patricia Anderson, of Holly Springs; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, at Hudsonville C.M.E. in Holly Springs, with the Rev. Bobby G. Wilson officiating.

Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza is in charge of services.
